Marking the middle of the moon’s monthly journey, the full moon energy is both powerful and dynamic to work with. Just as our circadian rhythm sets the pace for our day—guiding us toward rest at night, waking in the morning, and showing us when our energy peaks—the lunar rhythm sets the tempo of our emotional and spiritual cycles. The full moon is the “noon” of the moon’s month: the point of brightest illumination, when what was hidden in shadow is brought into view.
At this peak of light, the full moon is both activating and releasing. It calls us into fuller expression of ourselves while inviting us to let go of what the body and mind no longer need. Our emotions, intentions, and truths often feel magnified during this phase, and we are asked to work through the obstacles that stand in the way of our growth and the intentions seeded earlier in the cycle. This isn’t accidental—it is part of a natural rhythm designed to help us pause, reflect, and release, much like the body responds to day and night.
When paired with the gong, this energy becomes even more transformative. The sound waves move through the body, dissolving energetic barriers and opening the way for deeper embodiment of your soul’s purpose. Gong bath meditations also support deep relaxation and can restore natural sleep rhythms. By guiding the brain into meditative states, the gongs quiet the mind’s constant chatter and allow areas of the body holding tension to soften and release.
During a full moon gong meditation, because the energy is so activating, many forms of release are possible. Everyone responds uniquely to sound, and no two gong baths are ever alike—I intuitively read the energy of the room and play what is needed for the group in that moment.
This gathering is capped at 8 participants, a number symbolizing transformation and self-growth—ensuring an intimate and supportive container for your journey under the brightest light of the moon.
Note: If you are in the 1st trimester or have a pacemaker that may be sensitive to sound please consult with your doctor before attending.
