Deep Winter’s Rest
A One-Day Descent, Release, and Return Retreat
📍 Woodstock, Georgia / $200 (early bird before Jan 17) $250 (full price)
Deep Winter’s Rest is a sacred, one-day immersive retreat inspired by the ancient myth of Inanna, who journeys through seven gates of the underworld to meet herself fully—stripped of titles, roles, and adornments—and returns renewed, embodied, and sovereign.
This experience is designed for those who feel the call to pause and consciously release what has grown heavy as we move from 2025, the completion of a cycle, into 2026, a new beginning.
The retreat date (Jan 31st) is chosen intentionally—held on the cusp of the second Full Moon of the year (Leo, Sunday, February 1) and aligned with the seasonal threshold of Imbolc (Monday, February 2), a time traditionally associated with renewal, purification, and the first quiet stirrings of life beneath the surface.
Winter is not a dormant season—it is a powerful threshold. The choices we make now, both through action and through rest, shape how we move as energy begins to shift:
Winter → Spring
Spring → Summer
Summer → Fall
Deep Winter’s Rest offers a structured, embodied way to meet this threshold with intention. Through ritual, movement, sound, reflection, and deep rest, participants are guided to release what no longer needs to be carried, listen to and feel what remains when entering the sacred quiet, and return with a clearer, more authentic relationship to their own power and inner rhythm.
This retreat is about honoring the natural cycle of descent, release, and return—so that what emerges in the months ahead does so with integrity, clarity, and ease.
What You Will Experience
A ceremonial opening that establishes safety, intention, and ritual space
A guided movement and live gong/drum meditation for the symbolic seven gates of descent
Opportunities for reflection, creative expression, and meaning-making
Guided encounters with inner patterns via live sound
Periods of intentional silence to support integration and nervous system regulation
A powerful ritual of release, allowing you to consciously lay down what no longer needs to be carried
A deeply restorative Yoga Nidra experience supporting symbolic death, renewal, and return
What You Will Receive
Deep rest that goes beyond relaxation—supporting emotional processing and inner clarity
Greater connection to your body’s wisdom and inner rhythms
A renewed relationship with your own authentic power
Space to be witnessed without needing to be “fixed”
A quiet, grounded return to yourself at the deepest time of the year
This retreat is about experiencing what remains when unnecessary layers fall away—and allowing that truth to be the state of being from which the rest of the year (and maybe your life!) stems.
No prior experience with yoga, meditation, or ritual is required. All practices are invitational and adaptable. Time for solitude and rest is intentionally woven throughout the day.
Deep Winter’s Rest is ideal for those navigating transition, fatigue, identity shifts, or the simple knowing that something is ready to be released.
